Not to mention that a lot of old game companies repeatedly fail to remake their own games faithfully, in the rare cases where they bother to remake them at all. Look at Nintendo and Sega for example. they could have done Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc… precisely the way they were done the first time. They just decided not to. There are some things, sadly, that only pirates can get.
